The second chapel on the right today is dedicated to San Vincenzo Ferrer, a Dominican saint, the oldest among those that were built in the 4th century construction. It was designed by Pietro da Porlezza, stonemason and creator of the floor of the Basilica.
The frescoes that decorate the church can be dated to the late 15th century and are attributed to the areas of Liberale da Verona or Giovanni Maria Falconetto. The altarpiece in the centre is on the other hand an 18th century work of Pietro Rotari that depicts San Vincenzo Ferrer resuscitating a child.
